But I want people to understand it so that they can tweak it and make it their own.
I really take a values-based approach to productivity and what are we doing, why are we doing it?
I want it to be in alignment with my vision and my values.
I call it a life theme.
Everything I do has to be connected to that life theme, otherwise it's an automatic no for me.
So my life theme is I help people multiply their time and talent, leave a bigger dent in the universe.
So if I, I'll experiment with stuff, like when I talk about PKM, that's very much in service of that.
I wanna help people me get clarity on what really matters and then create these productivity and creativity systems so that they,
make more of what they were designed to make and do more of what what really matters to them but i don't want it to be just like a done for you okay here now you've got the system now just start using it i want to give people the the power to tweak it and make it their own that's the the vision behind it it's kind of hard to do that i think you really do have to sink your teeth into it which is why i tried to make it as easy as i could with all that documentation yeah to help people rip out you know specific pieces of it as they layer stuff into their their own obsidian vaults
Yeah, I've got a free starter vault.
It's not actually like Life HQ Lite.
It's really just a bunch of tips and resources for Obsidian.
So if you're like brand new to Obsidian, it's forcing you to write in Markdown.
I have no idea what Markdown is.
The starter vault has like a Markdown cheat sheet, stuff like that.
Very, very cool.
oh man well i'll talk about journaling because that's probably the the most pointed example i have an on again off again relationship with journaling i've used i used a1 for for many years tried all the different apps and it just never really stuck i would stick with it for a little bit but very jealous of jeff's 2000 day day streak like that never worked for me
so i read triggers by marshall goldsmith for the bookworm podcast and he talks about this different way of doing journaling that he calls daily questions and the the thing there is instead of having the prompt like what did you accomplish today where it's focused on the outcome
His was framed, did I do my best to, and then he's got like core areas he's checking in on.
He gives himself a rating from one to 10.
