Power outages have been minimal.
We don't have any ice.
It's not heavy wet snow.
So our power outage is now just over 2,000 statewide.
And that's going to be primarily for freezing rain and some sleet.
And power in those areas could be out for days.
This is a very serious situation.
We could get up to an inch of ice on trees and power lines and they snap.
We're going to have up to a foot of snow from here.
here in Tulsa, where temperatures Saturday will only be at eight degrees.
That's 40 degrees below average, and the wind chill's 15 below zero.
Up to Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, State College, New York City, Boston, Providence, all those areas getting a lot of snow.
Now, the snow will move into D.C.
Saturday night and into New York City and up the 95 corridor on Sunday morning.
It's all about cold air and the moisture getting together.
And that doesn't happen very often at this latitude.
