And then we interviewed the eleven year old.

And the eleven year old, and these are forensic interviews, were I'm not talking to him.

There's a forensic interviewer trained to talk to children, talk to him.

And the eleven-year-old talked about how mom would have her keep secrets from dad, how she was basically taking care of the four-year-olds during the day, when uh Jessica would sleep all day, and um that she had seen Jessica give the children

the twins on multiple occasions, um, Benadryl and and um the older child's clonidine.

And and she described one instance where she saw 'em give 'em both of them and they and the twins slept for two days.

Yes.

Okay.

Uh the oldest had no

father in her life.

Okay.

Which we're gonna get we can get to a bit later.

Um Derek had stepped up and was basically her father figure and continues to be her father figure.

And uh the oldest had said she watched Jessica give them clonidine and vinadrills, saw them sleep for two days after that.

And and it's a very traditional family, right?

Derek works and Jessica stays at home with the kids.

So um he's relying on, again, the information coming from her about what's wrong with the children.

Yeah, and you know, uh one of my frustrations with with CPS attorneys is um during this process, they basically made Derek managing conservatorship.

And then

backed out of the case instead of terminating right, so mom.
