even rent compared to like twenty years ago.
Um the the stake that you want to put on your dinner plate is is now twenty dollars for the steak as opposed to seven when you were younger.
Like all of the stuff that has happened.
Um and if you go to that, it's actually been moving so fast the last s six years since the beginning of like the pandemic era with the money printing and stuff that it's just stripped people of
their ability to keep up, especially if you've been in like a salary job that you haven't been able to control your income and and increase it unless you were p like privileged and narcissistic enough to to be on a really big one before then.
Um but yeah, so like it's been eating into people's things.
So what happens there is like you go to work for six years and then you're like subconscious you're like, man, nothing's happening, eh?

Kinda liked this job, but
It's not giving me the result which I was after, which was like a house and, you know, a steak and all of these like basic things like fuck, I'm sick of driving like the nineteen ninety nine Toyota Corolla or whatever the things are.
And subconsciously you're like, it's a boss's fault.
Come.
It is.
And then they they take it out.
And I think a part of uh a part of like the the toxic workplace like stuff is around
the the employee not feeling like they're valued and it's not because of the company not paying them more directly, it's because of the cost of everything outside of your work life has got crazy.
So inflation is like the theft of hope.
And you know
