Yeah.

I think it's good for us to practice having uncomfortable conversations in person, even though it feels really hard.

Probably taking the group chat offline at times.

You know, like how often are you meeting up in real life?

Because that can be a good measure stick for the depth of that connection.

And it also deepens the connection every time that you're able to

get together.

I think this generation, including us, we've gotten really good at constant access and visibility, but that doesn't necessarily equate to intimacy and connection.

Those two things are different.

They can coexist, but it makes it really hard to get that kind of depth because it's just physically impossible for us to get depth with everyone that we access online and in group chats.

So I think like, yeah, a good measure stick for that is like, could we meet up all in person like once a month or like start a book club or something?

Because yeah, otherwise it's just, I don't know, is it just noise?

How close are you to these people?

Does it fill your cup?

Does it make you excited and happy?

And I feel like I'm not really part of any group chats that I wouldn't hang out with in real life.

unless it's maybe like professional, like work-related or you're in a uni group project or whatever, like that stuff's kind of non-negotiable.

But I'm just like really big at the moment on that, like you said, the pendulum swinging the other way and, yeah, getting offline to gather because I think we've become really, really good at being accessible but we've completely forgotten how to gather in person.

Maybe it's just in my thirties where I'm like, it's hard.
