Well, this sounds a lot like James.
But to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.
And he's kind of dealing with all this how you're responding to trials, which in the controversial section, obviously some trials have come their way and they're all of a sudden abandoning all these things that saved them.
And so I think he revisits

Because I think it's James's point.
He's like, consider pure joy when you face trials.
Because this is the thing, even though it's rough, these are the things it's going to produce.
It's going to produce a perseverance, a work, a love for people that you don't care what happens.
We're going to stick to the plan no matter how difficult it becomes.
But everybody asked the wrong questions.

And you're just like, you're missing it.
The very question that you're at, like, look, let me just give you a few, and you'll see what I'm talking about.
It's like the one about the oaths, because James gets in there.
Don't swear by anything, basically.
And you're like, why is he making such a big deal?
Because you're supposed to be trusting God.
And it's making you look like you're not a man of integrity.
It's like we do it by saying, I'll swear on my mother's grave.
