It's just insane to me to look at that and be like, how can anyone see this and not say that's a fully corrupt human being who is trying to hide something?

And what I want to tie this into something else as well, because this obviously happens in America.

And I'm not just trying to say this is like a conservative playbook, because I know obviously all across the political spectrum, people use like culture war conversations to navigate attention.

But I want to talk about now like the bike culture war.

Again, this is specifically about Toronto, which he obsesses about.

There's a theory online that he lost the mayoral race of Toronto and hates Toronto ever since.

Yes, and his brother who was the mayor was very controversial and a lot of people, quote unquote, treated him badly in politics.

So he has this vendetta against the city.

I'd scream at him.

But what I'm trying to say on the political spectrum is he will specifically use wedge issues.

And there's an investigation into this that found...

they were not even following the advice of their internal studies around bike lanes because they know it's an issue that riles people up, right?

Like traffic in Toronto is famously bad.

I know it is all over the world, but you see these things that come out that say like the 401 or Toronto traffic is like the third worst in the world.

Or like there are so many people who live here and not enough infrastructure for it.

And I understand anytime we have to drive somewhere, it is literally insane and it makes you get so angry.

And I don't drive in the city.

So yeah, we both like, unless we have to drive somewhere,
