But instead he ordered the removal of 19 kilometers of protected bike lanes.

They were like literally making a whole scene about this and trying to pit

not just the city, but I feel the province against bike lanes.

Like he's for the car.

He understands the average person.

And how, like, again, we can get heated about this because it's like, if you do drive a car, I understand when there's no bike lanes, like it's stressful if you're driving a car and there's bikes and you may look over and be like, well, that bike line's empty.

Trust me, in Toronto, there's times when I see hundreds of bikes during rush hour.

And many studies come out that show bike infrastructure takes people off the roads.

I'm a perfect example.

I never really drive in the city, but if there wasn't bikes and it felt too dangerous, I'm way more scared.

I would take transit, obviously, over driving.

But there's a lot of people who have cars who would be like, okay, I don't need to bike five minutes and it's going to also take me 10 minutes to drive there.
