But I do think it's cool when an indie film has its moment.
And I was not terrified.

I know what you mean when something feels like it's more rooted in reality and like a serial killer is a much more –
grounded type of horror yeah i liked that this movie that its premise was silly because then you can just accept early on yeah we're in a world where there's like this magic thing and the spell came true and then beyond that because i i don't like in a movie when you're unclear like is magic allowed in this world because there's nothing worse than even if it's not a horror there's nothing worse than getting to the end of the movie and then they're just like there's magic
It was a dream or like something where you're like, nothing matters now before this because it could not be a logical conclusion.
And it feels so satisfying to me when a movie is really clever and you're like, oh, I just missed it the whole time.
And this is embarrassing to admit, but that's why when I was a young boy in my teens, I loved the Saw series or at least the first handful because it was like...
spoiler if you haven't seen those he's in the room the whole time you know like at the end you can re-watch it with a different view it's not like oh there's a map and then each series was trying to capture that same each um version of it was like what's the twist at the end where you should you could have noticed it the whole time but didn't or could have put it together there's something really satisfying to me and maybe that's more of a thriller than a horror
But when you can be like, Oh, I'm starting to catch clues.
