We did not need capital to grow.
What we wanted was a partner to really help us expand our business in a way that we hadn't before.
We'd never had a board of directors, never had a board of advisors, been drinking our own Kool-Aid, so to speak, for many years.
This enabled us to sort of come to the table with our major holding company clients with an institution next to us and say, okay, we're ready for bigger deals now.
We're ready to move to the next level.
Well, I'm not going to disclose that to all your users right here, but I can say that growing a profitable business in ad tech is somewhat unique and it takes a lot of hard work.
So we have to, you know, there are three constituents here.
We have our clients, the brands that pass, and we have to deliver a great value for them.
We also have to deliver great value for the app publishers that are running.
And then we also have to take care of millions and millions of consumers who come through our platform all the time.
So when you do that correctly, there's enough profit for everybody.
Well, we're really not an ad agency.
We're an ad tech platform.
Yeah, that's okay.
Frankly, most of them lose money.
And you're reading a lot of layoffs and stuff in ad tech.
That's because...
A lot of them signed up with a venture capital fund, wanted to grow really fast and sell it.
And so there was never profit built into that.
It was much more about growth.
