And like, even one thing, I was doing an interview like a couple of years ago and I called my mom because we're talking about financial abuse.
And I called my mom and I was like, mom, talk to me about you growing up.
What was the, you know, what was the setup in terms of money?
And so she met my dad when she was 18 and he died when she was 49.
So they get about 30 years.
And she was like, well, from the day I met him, my mum had the full-time job the whole time.
My dad was a pizza driver, casually.
So my mum was the breadwinner.
And she said to me, from the day I met him to the day he died, I didn't see a cent.
Everything went to his bank account.
I was like, mum...
That's fucking insane, mom.
And she said, no, it's the way it was.
That's how it was.
That was what it was like for our generation, so it's not insane.
I was like, no, mom, that's actually insane.
I said, so how do you know how much money there was?
She goes, I didn't.
He gave me an allowance.
I had to give him a receipt and the change.
