Like he'd spent like almost like 100K on watches and I was like, and they weren't like the ones which go up in value.
I was shocked.
Well, that's, I guess, again, comes back to the goals.
If you've got your goals there and you've budgeted it in, you don't have to feel guilty.
That's the freedom of having like the goals and the budget.
Like you don't have to feel guilty because you're like, this is my spending money.
Like in my banking, I have an account called Fund Money and I know that that's my spending money and
I can, that's my guilt-free play money.
But I think, again, when I do hear people saying they feel guilty for spending, it's either because they're not clear on what they want with their money, so they're just constantly feeling that guilt.
Yeah, or...
yeah, they don't have the plan for it.
Or otherwise it comes back to like childhood and how they grew up and they haven't done the work understanding where does the guilt come from?
Was it because growing up, I didn't have any money and now I have money and I feel guilty for having what my parents didn't or is it because I've always had so much like, so yeah, kind of around that mindset because the money mindset is made up by the time we're seven years old.
So there's a lot there that sometimes people actually need to unpack as well.
And
It doesn't take much digging to work out where that stems from.
Yeah.
I've always just had like this real, I don't know where it comes from, but I've had like this kind of responsibility that I need to help as many women as possible understand this money.
So like, it was a really big choice because like, had I gone back into the corporate sector, you know, I would have set myself, I could have set myself up, you know, really well, but I wouldn't have been able to do the thing I'm really passionate about.
