He said like when you scan things, like when you look across a room, you'll notice that your eyes don't like just like they hop.
Your eyeballs hop.
They don't just glide.
And so every time your eyeball... See, it's hopping.
I can see your eyeball hopping.
Okay.
So every time your eyeball hops, when it's moving...
It's not on.
It's not seeing anything.
And what your brain does is it fills in the gaps of what it thinks it would see during that time.
Okay number two this is I think a more well-known emotional pain uses the exact same circuit as physical pain.
So this is why like when you go through like a heartbreak or when somebody passes away or something like that like have you ever been like this hurts so bad it's because in the brain it's the same exact thing happening just not happening to your body physical body.
Yeah, I think I got a really good understanding of that after I read Body Keeps the Score.
Oh, yeah.
Okay.
So I think that's a more widely known fact, but it's still interesting.
Yeah.
Especially when you're thinking of trauma of the brain.
