abuse situation happening speaking of trauma i finished the nightingale oh gosh i just recommended it to ali on tuesday okay very good book i know amy's already said she loved it i had dreams of being in the holocaust while i was reading that book i don't know if that's because i'm pregnant i'm having crazy dreams but it was so good number three this i relate to

Well, everybody's going to relate to part of it, but your body is fully paralyzed during REM sleep.

Your brain shuts down motor neurons so you can't move at all when you're in REM sleep.

And this is where sleep paralysis comes from because when your conscious body wakes up, sometimes your motor neurons still are shut off.

So do you get sleep paralysis?

I don't think so.

Wow.

So like if you're dreaming, what if you're like in a fight or something like that?

Or I mean, that could lead to more like sleepwalking and stuff like that.

Which speaking of my husband, he does act out his dreams sometimes.

So I don't think he's in REM sleep very often.

He's like kicked.

He's done a lot of weird things in his sleep.

But one time he was kicking.

And so I woke him up and I was like, what are you doing?

And he was like, I'm playing soccer.

does he even play soccer he did as a kid no he did not play soccer but we were i'm pretty sure we were watching ted lasso at that point so he probably like had that on his dome you know so he's done that he's like punched the air and stuff so he needs more REM sleep is what i gathered from that

Okay, this number four, you might know this already, but I don't think it's as widely known.
