And so I do think that terrifying people is actually a a very successful part of that critter hype because it creates this belief that, Oh my God, this is so powerful, this is a god, this is you know, it could h end humanity, which, you know, it's scary, it's terrifying, but it also helps with the perception that this technology is so, so, so powerful.

Like my entire web three is going just great beat is like, Oh, AI models discovered another smart contract and stole ten million dollars, you know?

No matter how you interpret it, it's alarming, right?
Like either way it's alarming.
And I would add that they're sort of mimicking what Meta is doing, right?
Because we've seen Meta deciding to open source its AI model.
You know, it doesn't compete with uh open AI or anthropics models.
So, you know, they've basically said, Okay, well we'll open source it, which, you know, the same question could be asked of them.
What's what's their strategy in open sourcing that?
And I think it's pretty much the same thing.
Interesting.
people will use it when they previously wouldn't, probably if they'd had to pay for it, certainly not in the numbers that Meta would like.
Um, it probably helps them attract more um
researchers if it's open sourced, you know, it it creates it causes people to essentially build their businesses on the model.
