And so many neurodiverse couples do not have that trust because they didn't know.

early on in their relationship, they were a mixed neurotype couple.

So there's so much hurt that oftentimes was unintentional.

And you know the trustworthiness has gone out the door.

So I think what you said is so important to have these conversations when you're not in the middle of the conflict.

To have those safe words.

And also to talk about, you know, whether or not what you're asking is feasible every time, I think is important because oh a lot of neurodivergent folks don't have the spoons sometimes to do things and they may not know that and how to communicate that so it doesn't turn into a conflict, right?

And and not being able to

do what it is that they're being asked of, but wanting to, but they just don't have the spoons.

Yeah.

Uh being appreciated is so important, even if sometimes I hear from a lot of autistic folks that they don't know what to do with the appreciation and the thank yous.

And I think that's something that they can talk about ahead of time.
