Yeah, so the study that I was talking about just sort of exemplified that there is an innate aspect to it.
Some people are born this way, and what happens is they have fewer neuroreceptors in the reward pathway of the brain.
This is the part of the brain that feels pleasure, feels motivation as is essential to t to to the learning process.
And what happens is these people who are born with fewer neurotransmitters inadvertently spend the bulk of their life seeking out activities.
activities that cause the release of this chemical called dopamine.
So they're thrill seekers, they're impulsive, they're gamblers.
But they also make fantastic entrepreneurs.
And in fact a lot of them have A D D.
Now the other thing is for the rest of us, so it's like fifteen percent of the population's born this way.
The rest of the population, the knee-jerk reaction for us is to feel this other thing called loss aversion.
So when you face a moment of failure or ambiguity, the knee-jerk reaction for the rest of us is to to basically remember failures from the past.
That's the amygdala side of the brain.
And you basically start this game of twenty questions and you start thinking, Hey, I can analyze my way through this risk.
And what happens is you only more deeply root yourself in this emotion of loss aversion.
And the people who came up with loss aversion, which is basically

So by design, when you start doing that, you're basically guaranteeing that your brain is pr pr pressing all the buttons that make you take no action at all.
And so if you're not born this way, the key is to start activating that side of the brain that makes you impulsive, right?
That reward pathway of the brain. 'Cause these two sides of the brain, while they're not linked, it's almost like a traffic light.
One makes you go, one makes you stop.
