out of sheer coincidence, I was introduced to researchers um of behavioral finance.
So it was a neuroscientist and Sounds

Um a nerd party.
Um it was a a behavioral psychologist and a neuroscientist who study financial risk taking with the stock market.
And they turned me on to research um out of Cambridge University where they basically
took um entrepreneurs and corporate managers with equivalent IQ and equivalent years of experience to understand what is it that makes the entrepreneur different.
They gave them a battery of F MRI scans, so all these wires to the brain and behavioral tests.
And at the end of the day what they

And what they found was that um if you give these two groups of people who are equally smart and equally experienced
information and say, hey, answer these questions like a smart person, they all answer the same way.
But when they asked them questions of upside gain and downside loss, the entrepreneurs overwhelmingly took riskier bets.
And while they were taking while they were anticipating taking these bets, there was a chemical release in a side of the brain called the reward pathway.
This chemical release is linked to impulsivity.
The other thing they found is in behavioral studies, um
they these entrepreneurs scored higher on cognitive flexibility, which in lay terms is adaptability.
What they found is what makes the entrepreneurs different is the ability to take risks and that can further be broken down into impulsivity plus adaptability.
