Immediately when you start thinking about all the downsides of something, you tip off the side of the brain that's linked to loss aversion.
That's the side that makes you think about everything that's gone wrong in the past.
It's linked to demotivating behavior.
And the minute you start doing it, you're pretty much assuring that you will never take a risk.
So every 10 years, there's something that comes around, this paradigm shift, a big change that kind of lifts up all the ships in the tide.
In the last 10 years, it was the internet.
The 10 years before that, it was personal computing technology.
Every 10 years, you go back.
There's something.
And we're about โ
A long time ago.
And we're certainly due for something.
And there's a chance that we're already seeing the sparks of it.
And I don't think it's green technology, which I think a lot of politicians are kind of like pushing us to think that like that's where all the jobs are coming from.
It may be the old, greasy, dirty technology.
oil and gas.
There's a lot happening in that space.
And an energy efficient America may come from the energy that seems old, but we're finding new ways of extracting that oil and finding new ways of working with natural gas.
That's not my space, but from what I read, there's inklings of some stuff in that space that could, again, be what this country is looking for in terms of growth that creates jobs and kind of pushes forward entrepreneurship.
But if you want to be an entrepreneur and
