If 50 percent of the time I could bring up a name like Bertrand Russell and I don't get a blank stare, even if you say I've never read Bertrand Russell, but I know who he is.

I know that he's a writer.

I know he's a, you know, somewhat of a funny philosopher, so to speak.

OK, but but it doesn't happen.
