You know, who's who's to blame?

Who's not?

Why did they get lawyers?

Why didn't they?

There's a lot of sort of hardening feelings there.

That are happening right now, especially absent any evidence.

There's a lot of speculation.

So people's minds and hearts are just going all over the place.

So the hardest part is not the funeral, but it's how do you respond to the nation when it reacts?

And are you prepared?

I was just recently writing my book and talking about, you know, the president, President Obama's response to Michael Brown dying.

And he didn't go to St.

Louis and how that was so much pressure as a staffer, because we carry the burden of being black and then working for the first black president with the expectation that he leans into his race at that point.

So that's going to be a hard, hard for Mr. Jeffries and some of these other leaders to deal with, which is how do you heal the nation and move the nation forward after whatever a verdict might be?
