You have to fly to Maui in order to sit there and spend hours with each other in each other's
presence and company, like, that's the value of it.
I think that tends to be true.
And that's definitely been the case for me, that I have to go somewhere else to totally detach.
And if you have some sort of staycation at home or even just a weekend at home, we're all β everyone in my family is all kind of just β
lost in their own world, their own priorities, their own email or friends or whatnot.
They're all lost in it.
And you have to detach from that in order to spend quality time.
To me, that's the biggest value of spending money on travel and vacations.
Yeah.
Fuck the caravan.
I'm going to get one.
And so I think you have to experiment with a lot of different kinds of spending to actually figure out what's going to be right for you.
So little experiments of like, try eating at a fancier restaurant than you normally would.
It might not do it for you.
Wine is not my thing.
I have so many friends who are like, because I'm not a wine guy.
And they're like, all right, you haven't tried the right wines.
And they're like, this is going to change your life, Morgan.
They hand me a glass and I'm like, it all tastes the same to me.
