Luck makes you think that you can beat them.
And maybe that, yeah, I think to be a performer, maybe there's a bit of that too.
Just a bit of good quality delusional thinking.
And like I said, disappointment is a really intense emotion.
You see it with your kids, right?
When you're like, you have to get out of the pool.
