Looking back at those diaries when I was devising the show, it was such...

I kept a diary every day for Form 1 and Form 2.

That's the only diaries I've ever kept.

And they are so indicative of that age, 12 and 13, which these one diary entry is so childlike.

And then the next day is...

Like, just desperate to be a grown-up or grappling with this really awful self-loathing of hating, hating my body and hating, thinking no one was ever going to want to smooch me.

I think everybody goes through it.
