First of all, congratulations on the International Emmy last year.

That is incredible.

What does it feel like for you to have so many readers who have been following you and loving your books since 2009 and then a whole new generation since then who knows about this world?

15 something years um because this show is bringing um just this this great new energy to the world and um yeah it was just a wonderful experience it's pretty incredible and i want to talk about fall on i want to talk about your new release i want to talk about you in like the early career moments but like going way back a little bit you were a serious ballet dancer once upon a time was there any room in that world for reading or writing or did books come after that

Now, I read somewhere that someone told you you didn't have the right feet for ballet.

What does having the right feet for ballet even mean?

Got it.

Now, in and around the same time, I know that you had an intimidating teacher who fueled you to continue following your passion for writing.

Who was that teacher?

And what did they tell you?

Like, what did they push you to do?

Oh, God.
