I think a lot of the critiques and anger are fully valid.
I've been very critical of the democratic establishment frequently.
And where those critiques come from is not that they make mistakes.
It's that they make the same mistakes over and over again, because learning from those lessons would pose a threat to their kind of power.
And I don't want to do that.
And I think they're like things here.
Many of the critiques that have been

The conversation around the vetting, there is no standard vetting process that would have found the credible allegation that ended the campaign.
Eric Swalwell served on the House Intelligence Committee for a decade and then saw similar allegations end his campaign.
That being said, I think in hindsight, knowing what we know now,
The Reddit posts alone should have been enough.
The tattoo should have been enough.
The initial New York Times story on troubling behavior should have been enough.
And I think both things can be true, that we need different kinds of candidates running outside of the political arena, and that it's the United States Senate.
And candidacies should be held to an incredibly high standard.
And there are a lot of incredible people who are not part of the political arena, a lot of incredible working class Americans across the country.
who don't have those problematic Reddit posts or who don't have a problematic tattoo or don't have quite the level of controversy in their past.
You would describe the Reddit post for him at one point as an asset.
I think that there was a belief that I am still kind of wrestling with.
