My perspective on it is either politicians can change or the voters for whom they represent are going to change who who's representing them.
The idea that anyone gets to be a gatekeeper to the party, I find kind of absurd.
It is not our tent to define.
Voters can define and everyone can play their role in making the case to voters of what they believe it should be.
And it's like, why are we not asking the question?
What did Daria Liza do right to energize all these new people and bring in all these young voters?
And you can hold room for I disagree with whatever respective comments, but I'm also curious about maybe there's something here to offer.
Putting aside the moral component of it and all that, it is bad electoral math to believe in subtraction.
The job is to bring more people in.
We have primaries, we have elections.
That's how this works.
And the sore loser component of it, I don't think is like particularly productive.
And I think there is, we should be excited by the fact there's so many new young people showing up to vote.
We should be excited by the fact that people who haven't voted in decades are shown to vote.
That people are early voting faster because they're more eager.
Like there is something good here that's happening.
And I think the people who feel threatened by it could do themselves a favor by embracing it.
To me, there are two things that are kind of true.
One, there is a national brand problem that is undeniable.
To me, that national brand problem does not come from more liberal social perspectives from representatives in deep blue places.
