And again, I say to my candidates a lot, like I think a lot of candidates greatest strengths are their greatest weaknesses.

You know, you're an outsider, but you're an experienced or you're experienced, but you're part of the establishment.

You're a policy wonk, but then you're overly in the weeds or, and I think one of my, I think it's true for people in general.

I think one of it was like, I take the work that I do, I think very seriously.

personally, and maybe naive at times in the sense of wanting a different kind of politics to be possible and feeling that friction of sensing, yes, this is a lot of smoke, and kind of being almost disoriented by that.

But then also the euphoria of

of seeing a politics of what could be possible, of town halls of hundreds and hundreds of people in areas Trump won, talking about the New Deal and a different kind of populist politics and taking on corruption and Republicans saying that they'd have enough and independents saying they hadn't voted for cycles, but this campaign was bringing them up.

And the friction of all of those things was a lot.

And if I was doing it over again, I would do a lot of it differently.

But that was kind of what was happening.

So I think like, you know, FITE's not a vetting agency.

Like that's not a service we offer.

We work with campaigns and campaigns work with vetting professionals.

I think there's a fair critique of FITE putting more pressure, me putting more pressure on people to ensure that their vetting process taking place is responsible and robust.

And I don't recall that conversation that Genevieve is outlining.

I think there was a mix of different kind of personal dynamics in some of those decisions.

But I also think, you know, they were,

They were right to feel that something was amiss earlier.

Yes.

I think knowing what we know now, there should have been more credibility given immediately to that story when it came forward.
