And what I did is I, in an effort to find myself a job, I wound up connecting with some sort of random people in New York that were like business people, one of which is a great guy, this guy Jordan Selleck, who's this former investment banker turned entrepreneur and like, you know,

just so happened he was sort of trying to help his buddy who was a fighter pilot who was like trying to find his way in the world be connected on linkedin it's a whole thing it turned into jordan who's like this master networker he says to me he's like dude if you want a job you can totally just like go apply for jobs or really you should just like network like meet people because you have no idea how powerful that is

One thing leads to another.

And before long, like Jordan and I are like organizing this like networking event in New York for like, I'm going to bring all the transitioning Navy SEALs that I know there's many or guys that have gotten out that don't have a job yet.

And then like Jordan's going to bring all his business connections and we have these events.

And so we have this inaugural event in New York City in May of 2018 or whatever it was, 2017, 2018.

And I went to be a participant to go and meet employers.

But naturally, I sort of emceed the event.

Hey, guys, we're going to get started.

I got my suit.

I just bought.

And people assumed that that was my job.

And so nobody, no employer talked to me.

And I was like, what the hell?

I helped organize this.

Nobody wants a job.

But it came out later, they're like, oh, we just assumed this was your job, that this is what you do.

That turned into a charity, Elite Meat.

You didn't bring it up, but it's sort of in tandem with Operators Association.

I and Jordan, we were a team for a couple of years.
