And we put on like, I don't know, five or six of these pretty decent sized events, a couple hundred people, a bunch of veterans got jobs.
It was my job.
my job became fundraising.
I'll be honest.
That was my job.
And it was like phone call fundraising.
It was like micro donations.
It was, it was a slice of humble pie because it's like, if you want to ask people for money on, on every single day, like it's, people don't like that.
Some people do.
Some people don't.
And, and I did that for a while.
But then towards the end of like 2018, 2019, I was looking for other things to do.
I think that I'm someone that does well when I have something new to chase a little bit.
And one area that was just sort of naturally already happening is
When you have been a Navy SEAL, it's probably true of like Green Berets or any sort of like select, any group in the military that has a selection that's required to pass in order to join that group.
There's all these people that want to be a Navy SEAL that can read all they want about the selection course, what goes into it, what do I need to do to prepare for it?
But there's nothing that really beats speaking to an actual Navy SEAL.
especially like a relatively current one and so it's just sort of a thing that when you get out of the military if you have a social media account of any kind or if you if you are publicly available in any way aspiring navy seals are gonna come they're gonna come calling and they want to ask you questions and they're super respectful and so i was getting hit with a lot of questions in virtue of being the ceo of elite meat i was sort of a public-facing navy seal
which had its own challenges.
But like I had people hitting me up a lot about people as an aspiring Navy SEALs asking me questions and I wanted to centralize it.
