Okay, so a few people have asked me this, and I don't think so, which is so funny because I know that she listens to my work and she reads my work, but she's never mentioned it, and I've been too scared to ask.
I don't know.
I feel like if she knew that my 16th birthday party was spoiled, she would have mentioned it by now, which makes me think that she doesn't know.
But I'm not poking that bear.
That's so funny you say that, though, because not to get all bodily liquid with it.
And I gave a trigger warning.
In a much more tame version of bodily fluids, I'm someone who is very prone to nosebleeds.
I get nosebleeds all the time.
And I didn't realize until, I don't know, college or meeting other people that not everyone has that experience and that they actually scare people and they think that something's happening to you because they themselves have never had a nosebleed.
And so I had a nosebleed one time because I was studying abroad in England and it was dreary and rainy and cold outside, but in the classroom it was really warm and dry, which can cause a nosebleed if you're prone to them.
And everyone sitting near my table was like, are you okay?
Are you okay?
Are you okay, love?
Are you okay?
And I was like, yeah, girl.
This happens to me when I jump off the high dive, which I haven't done since I was 10.
I don't know why I said that, but it happens.
And so, yeah, bodily fluids can scare people.
It's happened to me.
