I I'm I'm gonna be supportive of this for a number of the reasons that have already been stated by Senator Geller. podcast-host

But I I I just I want people to remember it's not only the population growth, it's the thousands upon thousands of of y of units that go off the market every year that are no longer affordable will become market rate. podcast-host

So the com the the problem gets compounded. podcast-host

By that we have so many people in this community that do not have stable housing and it's going to get worse because of what's happening with HUD. podcast-host

and the homeless population. podcast-host

So I mean th I I've I've been listening podcast-host

to to the people that have been working on this uh uh you know uh podcast-host

for the la for months and months, and I think they have made so many changes to make it better. podcast-host

Uh it's it's I mean, before I agreed, I it's not something I would have been uh comfortable supporting. podcast-host

But this they have done so many things uh to make it um a beautiful community. podcast-host

And I know I go everywhere to ribbon cuttings and groundbreakings for affordable housing. podcast-host

And affordable housing is different than people remember. podcast-host

It is beautiful. podcast-host

They are beautiful communities with with all kinds of amenities and landscaped and and and just they fit right into any community. podcast-host

So um I I I just I'm I'm gonna, you know, support this and I hope everybody will to move it along and I'm certainly will be looking at to make sure that all the promises are kept. podcast-host
