Um as well as to uh since the United Way has raised a b a bunch themselves, some of it is going there for their project lifeline. podcast-host

If you remember they're they're feeding they were feeding TSA people uh uh once a week, giving them food for the week because they w weren't getting their salaries and their you know, so podcast-host

Anyway, it's it's amazing. podcast-host

I I just always say about Collaboration County, this is the perfect example of what we were able to accomplish here, just in like like that here. podcast-host

So and I just want to thank our staff again because uh Monica and her team and Kevin and uh um ev everybody was you know so uh uh you know jumping on it right away. podcast-host

And then I just wanted to mention two quick things that I attended this la uh oh this la past week or so. podcast-host

both good things for our community. podcast-host

One um was the groundbreaking for ECOS Penbroke Park affordable housing project. podcast-host

An amazing an again with uh the um the uh Miami Jewish health system. podcast-host

They're the ones that built the four hundred unit one that's on Douglas Road, it's called Douglas Garden Residences. podcast-host

They just moved uh about two weeks ago they moved in two hundred people, two hundred apart two hundred apartments were to filled. podcast-host

And the other two will be in about um by the end by probably through January, the other f two hundred will be done. podcast-host

And those are all affordable units there with the PACE program from um from Miami Health uh Jewish Health that is there on a permanent basis to provide health care for the people living in uh in that. podcast-host

And now they just broke ground on Eco's uh Pembroke Park podcast-host

And that is going to be affordable housing for uh it's a hundred and fifty units for seniors aged sixty two and up. podcast-host

And this project also it's the same people, uh McDowell Housing Partners and Miami Jewish Health System. podcast-host

Um and um they um also will be having uh the connection with PACE that because the the residents there will be able to use the PACE Health program as well. podcast-host

And also the Area Agency on Aging is going to have kind of an office in there for people to be able to get uh you know, things that they need, the seniors. podcast-host

So it's it's really, you know, uh another example of of us all working together. podcast-host

And this the the second one was for me it's like history because um it was a ribbon cutting for the Nicholas Children's Pediatric Specialty Care Center in Davy. podcast-host
