And I you know, people sometimes call me that and that's like just totally not correct.

I did what I could on the field and 'cause I didn't want to I grew up in a place called Atherton, you know, it's um and I don't want to be a little Atherton girl, you know, not going into the field.

So I did my best.

And um then no longer.

I pay Andrew for my vegetables.

Yeah, so you know, the um I was running this immersion preschool and I uh

After we moved out of the the house that we had for

uh for ten years and moved to the farm farmhouse and renovated that.

I'm turned the the that house the the into a immersion preschool.

And eventually there came a point, you know, I was trying to do edible schoolyard and you know, it's just it it was a just never really could quite get off the ground, but um I tried my best.

And then it we had a drop in enrollment and had extra staff.

And so the at one point in the beginning, the m mothers had said, Nancy, um, in the summertime during the summer program, it's been so great because we didn't have to make bento for our kids.

And then I was like, then can't you get bento every day for the kids?

And there was a little bento shop down the street.

They're selling Bentos for like a hundred yen or something.

I mean I don't remember.

It was like

obscenely cheap.

Yeah, w and just could what could possibly be in this little box of food for a couple hundred yen that you would want to even feed these children?
