Getting the

The the the um publisher to agree, getting the contract.

And then um, you know, photographing or writing, depending on the situation, some of it's like with Fidon, it's just kind of a photo shoot style, but you know, with m a lot of my other books has been like more photojournalism kind of a thing and the current ones are like that.

But

And then it's a never ending cycle.

So then there's the editing and then there's the promotion.

And then and so I was

With Japanese farm food, my f because it was my first book, I just kept promoting the hell out of it.

I just kept doing more and more.

I I went back to the States like that first year.

And you know, the first they first gave me two thousand dollars.

Uh I spent two god knows.

And by then it was like credit card kind of thing.

It was like just a flight basically.

Yeah.

And they eventually gave me more money and they gave me ten thousand dollars, which is unheard of for the second book tour.

Uh unheard of, you know, because they saw

the effort I put in.

And I also knew you can't ask ahead of time.

You know, but once you get a book con contract, it's like, you know, it's the thing that you've been thinking about and working towards.
