When Jane was 19, she started having an affair with a man who was 12 years older than her.
And he was engaged to be married.
Jane was also engaged.
But that relationship broke down shortly after the affair started.
She was infatuated with her lover, if you remember, and they started meeting up in secret.
And it started with their messaging via their office's internal messaging system.
And then one night they were out for drinks after work.
One thing led to another and it became a sexual affair.
They would have sex in their office where they both worked in.
He would come over to her house when her parents were out and she even went to his marital home whilst his partner was away.
Her lover married his fiance, even though they were still having this affair.
And he even told Jane that he was thinking about her on his wedding day.
Their affair continued over years, even when her lover was expecting his first child with his wife.
They had a child who was sadly born with disabilities and after he was born, this man left
his wife to be with Jane.
They did end up getting married and having two children of their own, but their relationship was far from the exciting affair that they had previously had.
He would financially control Jane.
