What they're not understanding is that they are essentially in a gated outdoor prison.
They are that effectively the Palestinian people have been caged and are
being pushed to a corner of that cage.
And as you mentioned, I think early on very specifically, have even been told to evacuate to the southern region, have been told to receive aid from external aid workers in the southern region, and then found those areas bombed immediately afterwards.
We're deliberately led in and concentrated to areas that were then, you know, the campaign continued and bombed those areas.
And the other thing I wanted to point out,
that you said, which is I haven't heard so many people say this as definitively, but are you saying that for many years until October 7th, the policy of the Israeli government was to not destroy Hamas, to keep Hamas
in existence as a form of controlled opposition to justify violence and military action against the Palestinian people.
Am I correct in interpreting that?

I think we've seen even yeah, thank you for explaining that if elucidating that I think we've even seen as early as a year ago, um
real estate listings go up in Gaza for occupied territories, for territories that were yet to be bulldozed.
I mean, there have been massive protests in New York due to Israeli land sales in Gaza that were taking place in New York, but I mean, there have been advertisements for um for yet to ex yet to exist settlements there.
Uh and I think I don't think it's as clear for every you know, in the like you say, in the American reporting has really
really downplayed the Israeli government's intentionality in all of this and the fact that how much of this is openly stated policy or at least public uh rhetoric.
Uh yeah, as you said, you know.
In the wake of October 7th, some things were said on social media that one could theoretically say were spoken in passion.
