That was uh class dependent, right?

Like if you're middle class in America, all of a sudden you'd better be buying the eco-friendly version of that thing that those those non-caring low-class people are buying.

You know, it's the same, it's the same thing as like uh the cultural position of organic food, right?

Like organic food is good for a lot of reasons.

However, it is also created as a middle class position to not only uh

you know, brand things that aren't necessarily healthier, but also to create class division, to to create these like class types where we decide what is uh best for certain groups of people, right?

So a one of those issues of the 1990s was global warming.

And do you recycle, do you participate in anti-global warming action?

And and you know, in retrospect, the global recycling's gotten a lot better.

The recycling of that era was pretty inefficient and did not step

The tide of global warming and wouldn't have if instituted en masse.

We we have reformed recycling since.

Don't accept bad information about that at home.

But

You know, I think a lot of the way we used to look at global warming was like

Well, that's why we all need to grow up now.

And not like, hey, um

Aren't there, you know, companies just dumping oil into the river right now?

Like aren't there you know, are aren't there just like unrestricted emissions going on that are orders of magnitude larger than any individual citizen can create or probably even imagine?

And I feel like that approach times.
