And my mom died when I was young.
And so that wasn't an issue.

But I think he would have said, because he's always been like this, I want you to be happy.
And I think I was lucky that that's what my family is like.
And when I did come out, especially with this book, you know, everybody knows about it now.
Some of my relatives just asked about it, but nobody was judgy.
Nobody didn't want to have me over anymore.
Some people were more interested in it than others.
But I think also when I talk about being in a bubble, I'm fortunate that I have a pretty open-minded family.
And I know a lot of people don't.
people's experiences have been different and i like i haven't had bad experience most experience bad experience are just like the comments from people that i don't know i think also the fact that i don't come from a strict conservative religious upbringing yeah yeah for sure people that come from like fundamentalist christian background or very strict catholic background or something that's you know very dogmatic and this is a sin and this isn't or you know
this will get you excommunicated.
And, and I didn't have that so much that my faith background is not like that.
So I think that is a big part of it.
I didn't have, I don't think my parents would have been ashamed of me or embarrassed.
I don't, I don't carry that kind of religious guilt.
That was very helpful.
And I think people that come from a different religious background experience
It's probably harder.
