America, I think, can be quite myopic and view the PRC through the lens of success through small events or victories or an agreement to buy soybeans or a deal.
And the CCP fundamentally looks for victories through the broader positioning and kind of orientation of the geopolitical map.
You see that with what happened with the phase one trade deal, the WTO.
We celebrate the deal, the concession, the little thing that we got.
And meanwhile, they don't honor it.
They exploit those loopholes for one reason only, to try to overtake the United States.
And I think soybeans are sort of the new currency.
I don't think we should trade away the future of America for a couple billion dollars in soybeans.
