I think the couple things that I will be certainly looking out for, I mean, frankly, I don't think Xi should be coming, in my opinion.

But Beijing can really only, I think, sell us dependency or relief from the dependency of a system with which they control, right?

They control so much.

And I think that we shouldn't let anything that we come to an agreement onto, you know, over the next few days, derail or slow down the desperate need for us to re-industrialize, rebuild the defense industrial base, bring manufacturing back.

That is what they want.

And I think AI safety and that topic is sort of an umbrella term that can very quickly turn into a new kind of catch-all for why we need to be cozy with China.

I would caution very much against that.

And I think my broadest point is just don't fall for their tricks.

They lie.

They don't honor their promises.

And last point, even the semaphore article today talking about how, you know, well, Taiwan isn't going to be the focus.

Well, that sort of falls into my primary thesis, which is we focus on small victories.

They focus on the broader strategic battlefield.

sure, like Taiwan might not be brought up, but they are reshaping the global map and the chessboard so they can more easily take Taiwan.

And of course, that's their impetus and primary motivator here, hence why they said they were going to cancel the summit if we proceeded with the billions in arms sales to Taiwan.

Last point on that, those arms sales are critical and crucial, not just for the sake of Taiwan and deterring its CCP,

But the DPP, right, the party over there worked very hard to get that special budget passed.

And if America doesn't necessarily honor that commitment, you are only going to see the KMT, the pro-CCP, the group that literally travels over to China, meets with CCP officials.

I would pause it.

you know, take power there, or at least give them a lot to run on.
