It is not like a reality TV show where you're in a simulation with four special forces soldiers
who treat you like a fucking soldier.
A real recruit.
The food is garbage.
That's the worst part.
Anyways, I'm curious, someone like yourself, I've told this story, I was talking about with Danny over the weekend, but like when I went on, you know, I ran track in college.
I'm 45.
It's been a while since I really like competed.
Thank you.
This was humbling.
He was like, papa?
So anyways, my daughter's keeping me humble.
We had just found out Natalie was pregnant when Special Forces asked me to go on.
So for me, it was like,
It was a truly a like, you know, I, in college, obviously I competed in, you know, you push yourself to a certain level, but I hadn't done that in years.
And so special forces for me was like it, when I was down bad getting through it, it was really like, I wanted to see what I'm about to be a father.
I'm about to, as a dad, have to face some, hopefully not, but adversity, problem solving.
I got to be able to step up.
I really use that as a metaphor to motivate me.
I'm curious, someone like yourself who just got done competing at the highest possible level athletically, what prompted you to do special forces and go through very far throughout the course like you did?
