Part of the problem stemmed from a refugee accommodation program that corporate travel ran for the UK government.
In 2021, the company was contracted to find 1.4 million nights of accommodation across about 60 UK hotels and to do it very quickly.
It's believed the company overcharged as much as $100 million to the government, including in one case invoicing more rooms than a hotel actually had.
A forensic review also uncovered revenue that had been incorrectly recognized and forced the company to.
restate years of accounts.
Last week it finally released its accounts and says it retained ninety seven percent of its customers and returned to profit in the latest financial year.
The cleanup is not over, however, with millions in customer refunds still to be finalised and its governance overhaul continuing.

But Regis says that is significantly below its cost increases, pointing to wages rising as much as four point seven five percent alongside broader inflation.
The concern goes beyond Regis, though.
The peak body for aged care says the funding decision could make it even harder to build the 10,000 new beds Australia needs each year to keep pace with demand from an aging population.
UBS has now cut its earnings forecast for Regis by 14% and lowered its price target, warning the funding decision makes investment in the sector less attractive in the near term.
Banks led those gains with NAB up 1.8%, Westpac 1.5%, and ANZ 1.3%.
Miners were also mostly stronger.
