So whenever women's basketball was addressed, let's call it 10 years ago, it was always in the shadows of men's basketball.
And
When you do that, you're painting a picture that it's not the main event.
And everybody wants the main event.
At the end of the day, it's entertainment.
Also, marketing.
Yeah, it's marketing.
Like, let's go to the main event.
If it's positioned as not the main event, it's going to be hard to grow.
And so what's happened over the last couple of years is that it's shifting into its main event.
But all parts of the ecosystem, when they were born, were really born under men's basketball.
The WNBA being owned by the NBA.
having all the colleges say the men play at seven, the women play at four, three hours before, right?
Like everything in position and relational to men's basketball, even down to why I started Moolah, the equipment.
For so long, we've had women's basketball players having to wear shoes fit for the male foot form, men's, children's, unisex shoes.
That puts us more at risk for the knee, ankle, and leg injury.
Mm-hmm.
And so that was, I can go into the founding story, but that's why we started this brand, so that it starts from your feet up, equipping female athletes in shoes that fit their feet better, allow them to perform better, and being a part of this ecosystem in addition to the storytelling, the fans, everything else that we need to grow.
