And many people call it one of the cruelest diseases you can have because it literally causes...

But as you mentioned before, you understand what is happening because in your cognitive capacity, you're okay, but your body isn't.
What are the risk factors?
Because there has been some substantial research done in the areas of MND.
What causes it or what are some of the risk factors?
In regards to environmental factors, research seems to indicate, especially people in regional areas, are at a much greater chance of being diagnosed with it, but also passing away from MND.
Why?
So you mentioned there about head trauma because we know Neil Danaher was a former AFL legend, but also just last week, MND is back in the headlines because a very high profile NRL player, extraordinarily young, diagnosed with MND.
And for a lot of people that get MND, the chance of them surviving is sometimes months or just a couple of years.
That's absolutely right.
So in regards to the warning signs, you mentioned there, Claire, how important it is to get early diagnosis.
What are some of the warning signs that you may have MND?
And Claire, in regards to going back to Neil again, his legacy, $120 million raised for research.
You mentioned earlier that there is a desperate need for more research and more knowledge about
what causes MND, your risk factors.
How are we placed in Australia right now, thankfully to the extraordinary charity work of Neil Danaher, how are we placed in Australia regarding research into MND?
