People are going to talk.
But as far as what we know for facts confirmed by the prosecution and witnesses is that she worked at the church with him.
They were in worship together.
She was active in the church.
She's known to have been very musical.
I believe there's potentially the fact that they were performing music and worship songs together.
He obviously, Caleb, is a musician himself, having been on American Idol.
And one of the things I think that is the most interesting is
is the fact that Aliyah allegedly resigned from her position at the church right after Ashley was killed.
And while that hasn't necessarily been discussed yet by the prosecution, I'm sure we can expect that to be part of testimony.
There was a pastor at the church who announced her resignation in February during one of the sermons, and that video has been widely circulated online.
So I'm sure that when they talk about this relationship, we're going to hear about how it was supposedly going on for months.
They seemed like they were, you know, swept up in each other and she vanished afterwards.
It seems like she's kind of disappeared.
Not that we've heard in court and not that I have seen in my independent research, like looking and digging into this case.
Captain Tony Smith with the Tip City Police Department was telling the court today during his testimony that he was tasked with collecting items from Aaliyah Botner's office.
And one of that included things like documents, her work issued laptop, a picture frame.
There are lots of items that were in her desk that he was supposed to get.
But one of the things that was really highlighted today is she had missing certain devices that were missing.
