Do we need more of it?

Yes.

Does he have to build all of those alliances and thinkers and movements or whatever?

But he does.

He does think.

And my worry is that if he goes down that kind of parliamentary labourism route, don't worry about it.

And many of those people are anti-ideas as well, anti-intellectualism.

They don't want to talk about hegemony.

you know, if you get surrounded by those people, then this will be a short-lived, you know, opportunity to stop, you know, the rise of the far right.

It proves that big majorities mean very little in that fragmented, you know, fragile world.

And Labour's got to learn that.

You know, I mean, it's so apparent that if you win...

65% of the seats on 34%, you don't have any governing mandate.

There's no support for you.

So that's another reason why we have to have proportional representation.

But look, I'm on the left of the party, but I feel incredibly pragmatic.

I don't expect him to change everything overnight.

What I expect of our politicians and our leaders is to put in place the foundations so that steadily, gradually, over time,
