The humour that we had between us was just so good.

I just had to laugh.

And I said, during one of the surgeries, then they found out I had a breathing problem.

So they tested me for sleep apnea.

So I had a sleep machine.

I was discovered, I had something in my bowel, something else wrong and it was all accumulating.

The only thing that was really wrong with me when they died was I had a bad knee from a sports injury.

But now here I was, the body was giving in and I just thought something has taken over, you know.

But I just went through and I had my treatment and I had everything and it just went on and on.

And I just say, dear God, was he trying to take me with him?

And then I kind of laughed and I said, well, either that or he was making sure I'd have no one else.

Missing a boob, two artificial knees, sleeps with a mask.

Who's going to take her on?

And only for that humour, I could hear him laughing.

I could hear him saying it.

And right through all of this, there was different things happening.

I remember the early days, the first week or two after he died, you'd get up and you'd say, what do I do today?
