So anyway, roll on to Patrick's Day.

Just after the first Patrick's Day, my sister said to me, what do you want to do today?

I said, just get out of here.

So we went down to West Cork to Sheepside and we had a lovely day.

She brought me home.

Fair play.

My sisters were great.

And I was disappointed none of my own were around.

And I had a few glasses of wine.

I started Googling houses for sale in West Cork.

It happened to be the last seaside place.

We had been the September previous with my son and his wife and our grandson.

And we had spoken about, look at all the property Nama was selling, but we never could afford it.

So I saw a house for sale in Kilkerhan and in my happy state, I googled the auctioneer and she takes back and she said, I live in the village, I can show it to you tomorrow.

And I said, fine, knowing I hadn't a penny to my name.

So that time they didn't take any notice of me because I'd sit into the cart and maybe go two miles down the road and I could end up 50 miles away and I'd just ring them and say I'm alright.

So I struck off down to see the house and I looked at the house, this beautiful house and beautiful village overlooking the sea.

But before I left, I said, I'll have to tell the auctioneer.

This is pie in the sky.

So I told her my story.
