But Ned was the only one that I ever said that to years ago.

I feel guilty because we did lose a little baby.

And Caitlin was born with a birthmark on her leg.

And do you know what they said?

It was the other baby sucking on her.

And that thing, that out of the blue, that came into my head.

So there again, no one probably even knew we lost the baby because, do you know, when I'd say, Caitlin, I have twin now, they'd say, Jesus, do you know?

So that was something that only he and I knew.

So again, it was, can I read this poem before we finish?

I would absolutely love you to.

Right.

I wrote this 10 years ago when my heart was breaking.

Silent tears continue to flow with the pain in my heart that will never go.

I miss you, Ned, with every breath I take all day long from the moment I wake.

I lost my world, my joy, my life and my reason for breathing when I became your wife.

I struggled through for the family's sake, putting on a smile and a brave face.

But the turmoil inside and the ache in my heart will never leave me while we're apart.

I know you were here, I can feel you close, but I miss you holding my hand most.

Your smile, your touch, your funny ways and even your moods on your bad days.

If I could just hold you one more time, I would tell you you're loved and you'll always be mine.
